Is Your Workplace Prepared?
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This includes carrying out a risk assessment, appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training. However, having the correct first aid provision in the workplace is not just a legal requirement, it is incredibly important for the safety of all members of staff!
Who is the Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work training course suitable for? Delivered in our Northampton Training Suite or at Your Premises.
This qualification is delivered over three days and is designed for those wishing to become First Aiders in low-risk or high-risk work environments. A high-risk work environment is one in which First Aid emergencies and accidents are more likely to occur, such as a construction site or warehouse. Whether working in a high-risk or low-risk environment, the course meets Health and Safety (First Aid) 1981 Regulations.
If you are working in a low-risk work environment such as an office, you may prefer to attend the one-day Emergency First Aid at Work training course which covers the basics of First Aid.
